Fall Still Life

I love this mug, I purchased it a number of years ago at a crafts fair at the New York State Fairgrounds. Although you can only see half of it, it’s quite large. I never used it as a mug but it’s been a great vase! Hope the artist doesn’t mind! This fall still life shot was setup in my living room. The original shot was of the full vase, it was later cropped for a more interesting presentation. The vase was set up on white foam core board in my living room using only the sun for light. I added two or three different fine art textures to the shot to enhance the atmosphere of the show I also tried to keep some of the green from the leaves by masking out a few of the leaves.
