New set of ten – 300 dpi textures now available in my shop on Creative Market – PhotoMelange Pencil Sketch Texture Set

I’ve been playing with pencils!! I have to admit that I don’t really do much sketching anymore I seem to be chained to the computer of late, but I do have a fun photoshop action that changes photos to sketches (so I’m not really complaining!). Anyway I really like the gritty look of pencil lines on textured stock so I thought I’d try something a bit different.

So I found some some paper and some textured illustration board. Took me a while to find some pencils… and even longer to sharpen them!! Good grief the pencils were either cheap rubbish or the pencil sharpener was but it took me forever. Once I did get the pencils all set I just scribbled and scribbled and scribbled – it was fun.

Once I had enough I took photos of the scribbles from different angles. I like the sketches as they were but then I thought what if I overlaid them on some of my textures! Some of the results are part of this fun and different texture set!

The set includes ten – 300 dpi high res jpg files for personal and commercial use (simple license on Creative Market).
